St. 爱德华的 University Celebrates May Commencement 2024
Austin, 德州 — St. 爱德华的 University will honor the graduating class of May 2024 at its Spring Commencement this Saturday, 5月11日. More than 600 students will receive their well-earned bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees.
Two separate commencement ceremonies will be held at the St. 爱德华的 University Recreation and Athletics Center (RAC) in the morning 和一个fternoon, followed by the beloved Hilltopper tradition, the Legacy Walk.
Morning Ceremony: 10 a.m.
- The Bill Munday School of Business (graduate and undergraduate) and The School of Behavioral and Social Sciences (undergraduate)
Afternoon Ceremony: 3 p.m.
- The School of Behavioral and Social Sciences (doctoral and graduate), The School of Arts and Humanities (undergraduate) and The School of Natural Sciences (undergraduate)
Both commencement ceremonies will also be live-streamed on the university’s YouTube channel.
St. 爱德华的 University welcomes this year’s commencement speaker Simone Talma-Flowers ’91, Executive Director of Interfaith Action of Central 德州 (iACT), whose mission is to cultivate peace and respect through bringing people of diverse faiths, cultures and backgrounds together and breaking down the barriers.
Tama-Flowers has a wealth of experience in nonprofit management spanning more than 30 years. She is a member of the Austin Area 研究 Organization, Town Lake Chapter of the Links Incorporated, Impact Austin and One Voice Central 德州. She also serves on the Board of Directors for Community Advancement Network, Austin Housing Repair Coalition, 德州 Impact, Swan Songs, Anti- Defamation League (ADL) and Episcopal Health Foundation.
Talma-Flowers holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology 和一个 Master of Business Administration 从圣. 爱德华的 University. She also served on the university’s President’s Task Force for Systemic Racism 和一个s the 校友 Association Board President.
